Live Online Workshops for Riders looking to build Confidence
You know the one!
You're at the yard, the horse is in, the tack is right there. And that voice pipes up.
"It's a bit windy. Just lunge him today."
"What if he spooks at the bins?"
"Everyone will see how nervous I am."
If that's you, I hear you. You are not broken, and you haven't forgotten how to ride. That inner voice has just grabbed a megaphone.
Here is the good news: we can turn it down together.
Once a month I run a small live workshop on Google Meet, where I teach you simple tools and we practise them together.
Next workshop
Ride Like Nobody's Watching
Less pressure. More riding.
Wednesday 18 November, 7pm
On Google Meet, from your own sofa
£35
Do you feel as if everyone is watching when you ride? Come and find out why your brain does it, and how to ease it.
How the workshops work
-
Live, from your own sofa. On Google Meet.
-
45 minutes of teaching, then 15 minutes for your questions.
-
A small group. Six places, so there's room for you to ask.
-
You do it, not just listen. We practise each tool together on the night.
-
Private. You won't be asked to share anything personal, and nobody will put you on the spot.
-
A workbook to keep, so you can use the tools again at home and at the yard.
-
£35 a workshop.
You don't need to have been to any of the others. Each one stands on its own.
The workshops
Ride Like Nobody's Watching
For the rider who feels as if everyone is watching and judging. You'll learn why your brain puts you under a spotlight, how to step out of other people's shoes and see what's really there, how to release that exposed feeling from your body, and a new way to measure "good enough".
Stop Anxiety, Enjoy Riding
For the rider whose nerves turned up out of nowhere. You'll learn why anxiety happens, how your brain decides what to notice, and calming tools you can use at the yard, including a breathing technique and the Self-Soother.
Quieten The Noise
For the rider who goes over and over things. You'll learn how to turn the critical voice down, swap a knot of dread for a feeling you'd much rather have, and set a riding anchor.
Lighten The Load
For the rider who feels it all gets a bit too much. You'll learn a simple tapping routine for the moments you're too wound up to think, how to find your core values so decisions get easier, and a little trick for the "I'll just lunge him today" moment.
The workshops come round again, so if one has passed, keep an eye on this page for the next date.

What Riders Say -
"Last night I attended the online live Stop Anxiety and Start Riding workshop. It was very informative and showed us useful breathing techniques to help…. I put this into practice before I went to bed and had a really good night sleep!"
